Abnormal papaya tree

I chanced upon a papaya tree in one parking area. It is a papaya tree with strange fruits. The normal papaya has one fruit for each leaf while this abnormal papaya tree has lots of fruits in one leaf. The owner said that the fruits are many but they do not grow normally. They just get ripe when still small like the size of a plum. But it is edible and sweet.

That abnormal papaya is called a male which should not bear fruit. But due to some quirks of nature it bears fruits so it is like that.  In other words it cannot bear normal fruits since it is an abnormal tree.
