During 2017 and 2018 Pakistan was almost unbeaten in shortest format of the cricket. They remained world number one during this period. They played 32 matches during last two years and lost only 4 out of 32.
But suddenly everything became difficult for them in the year 2019. The lost T Twenty series against South Africa, then they lost the only T Twenty against England and now they lost to almost Sri Lankan B team, that too on home soil.
I think too many experiments are main cause of this defeat. Ahmed Shahzad, Umar Akmal. Faheem Ashraf and Asif Ali have already got too many chances. Although they are great performers of domestic level but they always failed in the top level of cricket. Pakistan Cricket management should think about this serious matter and should bring back the players like Haris Sohail and Iftikhar to give some stability to its batting line up.
