We just purchased a new flat iron to replace the old one. I think the old flat iron had served us for 20 years because it was already being used when we moved to this home 19 years ago. It is nice to think that the small appliance has been worth our money.
This new one is just $10 which is the cheapest in the market. The question now is if this new flat iron will serve as for a long time. I think 10 years would be a good number vis-à-vis the cost of the appliance.

Do you iron your own clothes?
I think mine looks something like the one you bought. That is a long time to be in the place you are at. My last apartment I lived in before moved here I lived there 17 years.
