We get most of our rainfall in the winter in Southern California. Dogs and mud just go together.. It would seem.

I think that mud has some magical magnetic powers that attract children and dogs.
Exactly! Kids and dogs. lol I remember quite a few times hosing my boys down in the yard before they came inside to shower.
