Fruit (2/6)

My well meaning husband was trying to help me reach my goals and went and got strawberries. He had to call a neighbor to get it all done. I am allergic to them and of course he had forgotten. 

So I ate a few and my lips and tongue began to swell. I stopped and offered the remainder to them.  He was disappointed and of course my brother blurted out “Are you trying to kill her?” 

That whole thing took awhile to defuse.
