I have heard of the newer term PTSD since I have done blogs on persons who have service dogs to assist them overcome depression and stress.
I believe shell shock was the term they used in WW2, but the problem has been known to medicine by many names over the years
Shellshock is a new word that I did not was related to overtraining.
it is actually the old term for what we now call PTSD
Over training is one cause of burnout.

Being getting in a lot of practice.
