The most mythical temple in Myanmar – Dhammayangyi, located in Bagan. It was built in 1167-1170 by the order of King Naratha. One of the legends tells us that after the death of the king, his soul is seated in this temple. It is believed that Narathu was not a good person, he killed his father, brother, and wife. The killer’s soul carries bad karma, so the temple has not been restored until now.
