Worn down by the creek we took a break at. I thought it was a piece of glass at first. Do you know how to tell if it is Crystal or Glass? Without damaging the stone? First off, it will be cool to the touch. Glass will be warmer.
Another way to tell without magnifying it is to hold it up to the sun, if it prisms in rainbow colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet it is a crystal.
I have heard that glass is warmer. Nice find.
