“Children are tomorrow today.” ~ Celebrate “Children’s Day”. ~ In India, Children's Day is celebrated on 14th November every year. It is the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of #India. “He loved to be around children and celebrated his birthday mostly with them by distributing sweets among them. He was a passionate advocate of #education of India's #children and #youth. Nehru also outlined a commitment in his five-year plan to guarantee free and compulsory primary education to all children. He took many other initiatives for the betterment of the #healthandeducation of the children.” (Image credit and quote source: http://fav.me/d6u5ao5 ) ~ June 10, 2018, in the #USA is National Children's Day. It is not yet an “official day” like Mother's Day or Father's Day.
