"Cat's In the Cradle" is often attributed to Cat Stevens, but it is actually a Harry Chapin song. It was the first I ever learned as a young girl, and it opened the door for me to discover many more wonderful songs by this artist whose life was ended all too soon.

I absolutely love this song. We hear it every day. Harry Chapin was an amazing song writer. I have some original scores.
That’s very cool! I also love “Flowers are Red” and several of the others. He had a great deal of insight and human compassion.
One of my heroes for sure.
