  1. Before I put in my 2 cents comment, I did have quite a read of Dorothy Parker’s book to see her side of her world and perspective. She gained popularity and much-coveted accolade in professional literary journalism.

This ‘Unlikely Hero’, Mrs. Dorothy Parker (from your article) was/is deservedly and famously much appreciated and loved. I’d probably would have, as well, if I have learned a bit more about her.

    Thank you.

  2. If I want wit and humor to inspire me, I would not pick a book of her joyless style and acerbity of her writings. But I’m still curious to see that she had seen glimpses of hope and joy during her last few days before her tragic death.
