I liked the detail here. OK, I would have liked it more if it were terra cotta but you can’t have everything.
Note the fake owl on the top for scaring away the pigeons. It doesn’t work.
Prior to the 1950s a lot of the buildings built in Chicago were quite elaborate.
Incredible detail, wow I love the design.
