The Great Blue Hole, Belize (8/10)

In the Caribbean Sea, along with the Belize coast, the Belize Barrier Reef is a natural creation of incredible beauty. It is the main tourist destination of the country and the submarine dive traction center. The most famous place is the Belize Barrier Reef – Great Blue Hole. It is a submerged circular hole. Its width is 300 meters and the length is even 107 meters. The Great Blue Hole formed during Quaternary Ice Age when the sea level was much lower than now. When the sea began to rise, a huge hole was filled with water. Today, this is one of the most popular dive sites in the world. The water is incredibly clear and clean so you can admire the flora and fauna of the underwater world.
