Wooden Canoes at the Bolton Historical Society

Inside the Bolton Landing History Society Museum in the Southeastern Adirondacks on Lake George, NY they have a great display called ”Along the Shore: Boats and Boating on Lake George 1880-1920“. Here is a  Wooden canoe displayed there with its steam bent ribs, thin cedar planking and canvas skin that is painted dark green.
