I was amazed to see the “Wishing Well” pool in Luray Caverns in Virginia near the Shenandoah National Park. Here people are allowed to make a wish and toss coins into a pool of water from a pedestrian bridge. Here is a sign showing where the coinage money goes to, all charities. Since 1954 until 2017 a total of $1,180,000. The waters of this area have turned azure blue from the copper coins in the water.
