Air and Space bonus pictures. A few are from outside of the museum. It is just a short walk to all the Smithsonian museums on the Mall of America. You can also see the Washington Monument, the WWII Monument, the Vietnam War Monument and the Supreme Court Building. It is a wonderful easy walk and museum experience.
You can also walk from there to the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials, but they are a bit further of a walk.
I have a lot of pictures of the Washington Memorial. I do not visit, or take pictures of the Jefferson Memorial. I find my respect for Jefferson has slid. There was a time when he was my all-time favorite president. In learning more about him, and his life, I no longer respect him as a person. It just makes me sad.
