Wander project Greenwood Indiana

In 2001 the boys were getting homeschooling from my wife. In part to help them get a head start. Later they would attend a pre-school more for socialization and the aspects of people interaction that twins need (as do any children). There are some activities and images of the activities in the photos shared. This is the second picture disk from summer 2001 collection. There are four picture disks in the collection.

The scary images are of the boys in their electric jeep. I cannot tell you how many times they ran over me, my wife or the dog with that jeep. I can’t tell you because I lost count. They were pretty good, but when you grow up playing monster truck madness (their first driving game), it makes you a little more willing to roll over things. The drivers they have become, actually on the road is impressive given that start.

There are times looking back that I can’t remember when the boys were that small when they were that young. It seems now so long ago. I remember holding each of them, one in each arm. I would probably break may arm now to lift or hold up one of them. It seems so different now. I think that is the hardest part of being a partent, seeing the child within the no longer child standing in front of you. Hard sometimes to let go of the memories.

What do you think?

  1. They must have had fun! It may be hard for a parent to see their children grown up and more independent, but I’m sure that you still have lots of wonderful new memories to make!
