Travel guide: Oludeniz Resort in Turkey

The bay of Oludeniz is located 15 km southeast of Fethiye. It is an exceptionally picturesque place, which is famous for its lagoon, which is reliably protected from the open sea by a long sandy spit. Unfortunately, that paradise, which a few years ago saw here travelers, today was replaced by not the neatest types of buildings of resort complexes. The Lagoon Oludeniz and the nearby luxurious beach Belcekız were considered the best vacation spot for individual, independent travelers.

Today, they were replaced by happy families waiting for a good bar and quality air conditioning for their rest. Still, turquoise waters, emerald pines, and gently beige beaches have not gone anywhere and still remain one of the most photographed places near Fethiye. In addition, this site will definitely remain beautiful, after all, Oludeniz is declared a national park.

Oludeniz is one of those places in Turkey, where a tourist can easily choose a high-quality tan or a great excursion – or both at once. The Lycian way, which stretches 500 km from Fethiye to Antalya, also passes through this picturesque piece of earth.
