Turkmenistan - a part of the Silk Road and the crossroads of three different civilizations.
What to see:
Ashgabat is a white marble city, the capital of Turkmenistan, called Dubai of Central Asia. These are two cities: the old and the new, growing in the wilderness. New houses, a lot of skyscrapers built of glass, marble, glowing by gold. The numerous fountains, green trees, each individually irrigated.
Nisa is an ancient archaeological city, which was at the intersection of important trade routes, as well as one of the most influential parts of ancient empires in the Parth Empire (UNESCO World Heritage site).
The Door to Hell is the Darvaza gas crater, which has been burning in the wilderness for more than 40 years. A romantic night in the tent under the starry sky, mysterious night sounds, a magnificent web of stars and a sunshine in the Red Karakum desert.
Kunya-Urgench – one of the largest cities of Silk Road, XII-XIII c. It has survived the golden age (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
The vastness of the Karakum desert, the infinite mountains, the steppes and warm people are epithets that are quite specific to the country.
