The Solomon Islands includes about a thousand islands. Flights to the Solomon Islands attract travelers who are eager to dive into the intact and undiscovered land. Dense jungles, palm-roofed houses, tropical climate, lively traditional culture and images like from the Discovery Channel – all of this just enslaves the tourists and they want to come back here more than once.
The islands are rich in lead, zinc, nickel, and gold, but do not expose them. Tourism, especially diving, is important for the Solomon Islands economy. Radio is the most influential media on the islands due to language differences and illiteracy.
The most convenient and easiest way getting to know these islands is by the water transport, with has a huge supply there, so you can easily find who can take you from one shore to another. In the land, there are local buses or taxis. But the islands are small, many places can be visited by walking or cycling.
War museums are my kind of place to see.
