Thunder Bay in Acadia National Park, Maine

We finally got to go out on a tour bus seeing many of the sights of Acadia National Park in Maine. It was fantastic and we will go back with a car to explore other areas or perhaps camp there and do some of the challenging and beautiful hiking trails. This spot was called “Thunder Bay” which had a “Thunder Hole” where the salt water surf came in on the rugged granite coastline and had formed a slot that shot the surf up and made a thundering sound.  There were steps that took you way down to the bottom safely.
