We are touring around the famous and historic Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain in Upstate NY. Here they are recreating history and have renovated and restored much of Fort Ticonderoga. Here some re-enactor soldiers are firing some of the canons which were surprisingly loud. You can see the large bulwarks which were basket-like structures made of sticks, vines and twigs and then filled with dirt to protect the canon and soldiers from enemy fire.
It is nice to see some event like this in the lifetime of everyone’s life.
Sounds like a ton of fun. Great photo. Enjoy!
