Muskoka is situated in Central Ontario and is a two hour car drive far North of Toronto. It has 1,600 lakes that makes it a popular cottaging destination. Its population is 60, 599 in total but there’s an additional 100,000 every summer for the owners want to spend their time at the cottages. It has a span of 6,475 km2 (2,500 sq mi), it’s pretty much huge, isn’t it?
They say, mostly the expensive properties are to be found along the shores of Muskoka’s three major lakes which are Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau, and Lake Joseph.
This place is a perfect destination this summer that makes you feel relaxed away from over-crowded city like Toronto. Lake is way cooler than the normal temperature outside the house during summer so swimming in the lake is the best way to beat the heat this season.
You may enjoy speed boating, tubing, canoeing, and kayaking if you are looking for activities all day but you may need sunscreen though not to damage your skin even you loved basking in the sun.
I hope you will do enjoy the picturesque I have taken in the lake of Muskoka.
Nice reflective photo, has a calming feeling.
