On the self guided tour of the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, you come across the large lab and work area for training in metal working. Here they have a very big forge for heating metal and an anvil. They even have a foundry and metal casting area where they have classes on pattern making and pouring metal. They break apart old radiators from houses and melt the cast iron to make new things.
It’s nice to like old things that used to be used. Today, they’re just in museums.
