Farmhouse at Gettysburg

The view from Little Roundtop hill at Gettysburg in Pennsylvania’s National Military Park was great and it was an important battlefield strategic point for the Union army.  From this location you can see out across the valley and the many farms that are still there. Most were damaged and semi destroyed by all the canon and gun fire. Residents hid in basements and root cellars to avoid the gunshots and shells. Here is one of the closer farms that was taken over by the National Military Park and restored.
