In Upstate New York there is a little ski town near where we are camping on the Southwest part of the state near the Pennsylvania border. This is the quaint village or small town of Ellicottville. It has transformed into a thriving tourist town because of its shops and proximity to the ski slopes nearby. Here are a few images of the downtown of Ellicottville showing what is typical of many small towns in NY state, having just one or two streets of activity.
It looks like a pleasant place to do a little business.
