I was curious to see what the crop was in the fields surrounding our campsite in a large pecan tree grove in Unadilla, Georgia. The plants were dark and scraggly with distinct puffs of white. As we got closer, you could see the beautiful white cotton growing right there in the sandy soil. All these blue jeans in the making. It was very fun to see up close.
