If you’re ever in the Denver metro area, Casa Bonita is a unique dining experience that you won’t soon forget. While the food itself is nothing to rave about (except for the sopaipillas which are excellent), the campy family atmosphere is one of a kind. Here’s another old post where I had to update the pictures. You can’t get a true feel for Casa Bonita without seeing the Cliff Divers and Black Bart’s Cave. While the lines to get in weren’t quite as long as in years past, this restaurant has been in operation since I was in college some 25-30 years ago.
