I woke up early, just to take out the trash and feed Gumby, but I then went back to bed because I didn’t sleep well last night. I stayed in bed until 2 pm, which actually messed up my whole day because I wanted to go grocery shopping. I took a shower, changed my clothes, and made my brunch espresso via French Press Bodum. While sipping my espresso, I decided to make out my grocery list to figure out which grocery store I will be going to this time. I decided that this week’s meals will be mostly smoothies and homemade soups. So, I want to buy some veggies and fruits, as well as cat food for Gumby. I decided to go to Mother’s Market, but probably on Saturday morning because it is 3:33 pm, as I sip my espresso and think about a lot of things on my mind. I have a 6 pm walking group hiking meetup later. I chatted on IMVU with Bob in UK. His IMVU home looks artsy in black, gray and white, but the avatars are in normal color, in which I like doing similar artwork in this style. I actually drew some graphic novel scenes in this way. I have his avatar’s sneakers in real life—plaid flannel converse sneakers, although both of my real version are getting old. I noticed the time at 4:22 pm Cali time and 12:22 am UK time, and I was running out of stuff to say.
At 5 pm, I dropped by Trader Joes to buy something for dinner, in which I chose a veggie hummus wrap. I also tasted some samples inside the store, such as panama coffee, chai latte, and Cole slaw. I drove to the walking group meetup and ate my wrap inside my car. It felt kind of chilly outside, which is typical of autumn weather in southern Cali. When I got out of my car, I noticed a large crowd for the meetup of mostly people I have never seen before. I noticed only 5 or 6 familiar faces. While standing there, around 6 pm, waiting for everyone to arrive, my iPhone suddenly started to vibrate. Suddenly, I heard other iPhones simultaneously go off, as well as an eerie siren sound in the background. I took out my iPhone to notice an Amber Alert for a white Chevy pickup truck with also license plate and other detailed information. Life is getting scary with such technology. After the one-hour walk, another woman and I went browsing inside Grocery Outlet, which I think has interesting items. As I was driving home at 7:30 pm, I noticed police cars in the street, maybe on the lookout for the Amber Alert.
