Boxing was back yesterday evening in Mexico City with a slew of matches televised on ESPN. One of the matches featured prospect Sergio Sanchez going up against Gustavo Alan Pina. In the third round, Sanchez timed Pina’s jab perfectly by throwing left uppercut at the same time.
Pina did not see that uppercut and was knocked out. Fortunately, the doctors checked him out and he was able to walk out the ring. Actually, he stumbled out of the ring because that punch was devastating. That knockout will definitely hold up as one of the best KO’s of the year even though there will be six more months of bouts to be fought.
