Grade: Incomplete. Although the Cavs won the Eastern Conference with relative ease, they lost in five to the Golden State Warriors for the championship. We all know that Cleveland needs something else in order to get past whoever wins the West next season, but the Cavaliers does not have any cap space. Plus, the current trade rumors could possibly damage next season’s expectations.
With the tension in the Cavaliers front office with David Griffin not coming back, I am afraid LeBron’s farewell tour to Cleveland will make the New York Yankees 1978 infamous Bronx Zoo look like a day at Coney Island by comparison.
You’ll probably will be watching the Cavs for one more season because LeBron is leaving Cleveland again.
