UFC middleweight Makhmud Muradov moves to 24-8 with a knockout of Trevor Smith at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.  The KO happened with fifty seconds left in the third round.  The knockout was set up perfectly with a right to the body followed with a left hook that missed.  However, that hook that was avoided put Smith right in line with a right hook that finished the fight.

Muradov has improved his striking by leaps and bounds after becoming the first mixed martial arts fighter to be promoted by The Money Team (TMT) owned by former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather.  After winning his second fight in the UFC, Muradov will climb up in the rankings.
