This game was lost in the opening minutes as Freiburg goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow attempted to clear the ball from the goal area with a pass to a defender. Instead, his pass went straight to Mainz striker Jean Paul Boetius, who promptly chipped the ball into the net. Things went off the rails from there as Mainz won 5-0. Jean-Phillipe Mateta ended up with a hat trick. After seeing the video, you will see why Freiburg has never won a match at Mainz.
