FK Gorodeya jumped out of the cellar of the Belarus Premier League with a 1-0 victory on the road against FC Belshina in Bobruisk. Some loyal fans still showed up despite of the pandemic, but Belshina could not deliver for the home fans.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 50th minute. Technically, the setup was better than the goal itself. Gorodeya worked a nice give and go attacking alongside the left side of the field. A pass was sent into the box with a one-time kick that the goalkeeper deflected. However, Lazar Sajcic was able to somehow chest the ball into the net. The goalkeeper attempted a second save, but the ball went off of his fingertips.
Gorodeya moves out of the relegation zone for the time being, while Belshina now takes the bottom spot in the Belarus Premier League.
