Pacific Northwest Sunset in October

Photo taken last night at sunset, at the Pacific Northwest coast.

The rain let up long enough for a few shots, so I took a walk (two blocks) to the nearest beach outlet with my dog Happy and my boyfriend.

Happy loves walking on the beach, and playing in the water. Our sunsets don’t seem to get really colorful that often, but they are still nice to look at. You can’t see it in the photo, but there was a low bank of dark clouds coming in from the ocean. Which means more rain for today, and maybe a storm.

It really is fall weather now. The days are getting darker and cooler. It never really gets to cold here on the coast. Just rain and more rain.
