An elderly couple who lives in Sunnyvale California had one minor problem trying to use a ramp to be able to use their wheelchairs to leave their home so they could run errands by getting into their autos.
Since the elderly couple whose name was not mentioned could not afford to hire a contractor to repair the damages to their worn out ramp, the Sunnyvale Police Department who answered the call for a medical emergency on behalf of one the elderly citizens who needed to be taken to a local hospital to deal with an ailment.
The Sunnyvale Police Department detail led by Captain Anderson worked together to build a new ramp on the property of the elderly couple so they could use the new wheelchair ramp to leave their home and run their errands for the day.
The wonderful deed that was done by several officers of the Sunnyvale Police Department was done free of charge.
The story of the officers of the Sunnyvale Police Department building a new wheelchair ramp was reported on Facebook since it is one way law enforcement officials can get the word out that they do their best to serve and protect their communities.
It’s so great to hear about such kind people like these officers!!!
My pleasure to share the great deeds done by our brave men in blue .
Good for them. This will help many lives. Those who cannot get around will appreciate the ramp.
