Who is the judge?
There seems to be a movement to sensor people (in general) to more politically correct. Colleges and Universities are creating safe spaces so those of a like mind can gather in one place. (Well I was young we called that church.)
My Mom used a term all the time that would now be considered racist. However the way she used it and lessons she taught us were anything but racist. When we would be worrying and complaining about things over which we had no control or didn’t understand she would say, “You are acting like a cackle of restless natives.” My mother was native so I don’t find that racist. I honestly don’t know what a cackle is!
At any rate, I feel like the natives are restless here. There seems to be a nervous feeling like everyone is waiting for the ax to fall. I do not enjoy that feeling. So I am going against the tide and trying to scatter sunshine and hope.
