Here Are Your Flowers ~ Enjoy

My local Kroger Store, if you call twenty miles away local, has a kind hearted manager. He is simply thoughtful, kind and generous. Last year they had an over abundance of Christmas flowers and he called me and asked if there was anything I could do with them. I said sure and picked them all up.

This year the same thing happened. On the day before Christmas I was busy. I spent a good part of my day delivering flowers. First I went to the nursing and delivered them to each room. Then I went to the people who receive meals on wheels and I gave one to a very nice neighbor who has a heart of gold.

It made me happy to be able to say “Happy Holidays” from your friends at the store. They looked at me odd and wanted more explanation. I just smiled and say Santa Claus has many helpers, enjoy your flowers.

I am so grateful that he has such a big heart and he allows me to be a part of it.
