Every year, Owen had received an E Card on his Birthday from his Mother. Ten years ago, he decided to make a protest.
He wrote a long email complaining about the lack of involvement in sending an E Card.
He went on about how sending a paper card requires the person to go to a store, to look at the selections, to choose, and then to mail.
He went on about how an E Card requires no effort.
He never got a reply to his email, nor another E-Card. Not an E card, a paper card, or a phone call. In fact, no notice was made of his birthday ever again.
