Five Ways to Show You Care

We are becoming more isolated everyday. We don’t have to leave our homes. We don’t even ever have to see anyone. For many, there is no longer a front door, there is only a phone number or a tablet. This is reminder that some of needs things that are more tangible.

Instead of saying it ~ do it

There really is a difference between saying “I want to take you to dinner tonight.”  or “Do you want to go out to eat tonight.” One says loud and clear “I want to take you out and be with you. Just do it.

Respect your differences

If your partner gets up at 3:00, don’t panic. You don’t have to get up, you just have to understand that it’s okay for your partner to do so. It’s all a matter of respect.

Choose not to Argue

Does anyone ever really want to win an argument and probe the other person wrong? Maybe and if you really love the other person it is not as important to be “right”, just to understand each other.

Greet them with a sign of appreciation could be a simple smile. It could be a “Good Morning”. It could be “I love you.” It could be a kiss or even just a little squeeze of a hand.

Remind them why you chose each other in the first place.

I am with you because you make my life better. I married you because you make me a better person.
