Reorganizing Your Kitchen Tips

Tuesday, August 27, 2019

I am still looking for better ideas to reorganize my small kitchen, mostly appliances on the counter. They are kind of big, and they take up space. I probably need to get those under the sink organizers for cleaning products.

I need at peel and stick wallpaper. I should look for it when I go out, and see if there are any nice designs I can use.

My countertops are kind of getting old, too. I might consider a new cover, maybe in marble like the one in the video.

New hardware sounds cool. But I probably just need to shop around for now to see what is actually available before I make a choice.  Oh, wait, I just realized my kitchen doesn’t really have hardware to change. It is just cabinets and drawers that easily pull out. My tile cabinets wouldn’t look like with a cover, unless it is some nice tray or board, which I already have and use. So, I guess, I am already doing what is best for my kitchen. I just need to figure out a better reorganizing method.

I do use shelf liners in my cupboards, both for the kitchen as well as my bedroom closet. I agree with her that it helps breakable items stay in place without moving, while in the bedroom, shelf liners give a clean look for clothes.

I don’t really use clear bins. I just use those Tupperware bins for more my refrigerator food that I am currently eating.

I do agree that it is hard to store pots and pans, even though I don’t really have much. I do have a lot of Tupperware pieces.

But I am not sure how to organize my appliances that I use in my small kitchen, which includes grill, sandwich maker, juicer, mixer, blender, toaster, and coffee machines. I do use them, but not daily. So, they still need to be on my counter for easy access.
