Vegan Tea Latte

Wednesday, July 8, 2020

This week, I have been trying out a new product I had bought at Grocery Outlet. It is this Laird vegan superfood creamer, made from coconut and Aquamin. Aquamin is calcium from marine algae. I used one tablespoon in my drinks, and placed it together in a blender to mix well. I had tried it in this Trader Joes low sodium coffee one morning, and it tasted OK. Yesterday, I tried it with Matcha Green Tea, but I prefer Matcha Green Tree plain. This morning, I am trying it with black tea. After blending it in the Magic Bullet, the mixture came out frothy and light tan color. I sprinkled some cinnamon on top. It tasted milky and creamy, like one of those gourmet tea drinks.

According to internet research, tea lattes are made with tea and steam, frothed milk. You can use hot or cold tea.

I didn’t feel like taking a snapshot. So, I just used an old snapshot of one of my drinks I made in the past.
