Admit it. When somebody says meatballs, don’t you think Italian food? Specifically, spaghetti and meatballs? Right?
Yet the history of the meatball shows that it started in Persia. It was called “Kofta”.
Hmmm? So Persia gets credit for the meatballs. It’s cool! The Chinese invented spaghetti. They called it “noodle”. But who cares? Because now almost everybody knows what meatballs are. Almost everybody knows how to make them. Almost everybody has their own special recipe. And people can think of a zillion and one different ways to enjoy this delicious fun food. It’s not just for spaghetti! Eat it in a soup. Eat them as a sandwich. Eat them as a Game Day appetizer. Do them Asian style. Do them Middle Eastern style. Make them with meat or make them vegetarian style. Make them in a crockpot. Bake them in the oven. Fry them in a pan. All kinds of ways to enjoy the yumminess!

I do not like how meatballs look but I really like meatballs with tomato sauce but I hate when they mix them with pasta.
I don’t always have the time to get the meat and to make meatballs but I keep frozen meatballs on hand and use them in many different dishes
They do come in handy and at my local grocery store, they are not very expensive.
