Sunday at 2 Parks

Sunday, 6.14.20

Today was a long day. I kept busy. After breakfast, I started out my day at a 10am Yoga at the Park meetup. 18 people showed up. Doing yoga outside is very invigorating and energizing because of the Vitamin D sunshine, nice breeze blowing, and feeling grounded on the grassy earth.

At 11:30 am, I drove back home, and ate lunch.

At 3:30 pm, I decided to ride my Huffy to the UTC area to do some freewriting in my little book. The area was busy with many students hanging out together. I brainstormed and wrote out some story ideas for my 3rd novel. I noticed a wrapped bread on my table. I then decided to ride my Huffy to Mason Park to feed this discarded bread pieces to the wildlife. I rode my Huffy to my neighborhood, ran into some squirrels on my way, stopped to give one squirrel some bread pieces. He looked squared and ran up the tree, but I think he later came down to eat the pieces. I continued my journey, riding the big park across the street. As I entered the park, I noticed it was very busy. There were many picnics at different areas. Everyone was enjoying the nice weather. There were many ducks and geese. I stopped at one area, and fed them small pieces of this discarded bread. Some of the geese had fuzzy gosling babies. I gave some of them little pieces. I continued to ride my Huffy inside the park, people watching the activity at the park as well as the many geese and ducks. It was nice to see everyone outside hanging out together. When I reached the other end of the park, I decided to exit the park and ride back home on the sidewalk, parallel to the street. There were other people riding bicycles.

I arrived home at 5:30 pm. I am not sure how many miles I did on my bicycle. But I am guessing around 3 or 4 miles.
