When I heard the song about me and my shadow. I began thinking about my Mom she was always singing. She often sang “Let a Smile Be Your Umbrella”. So I decided to see if I could find that. The first one that came up was this spoof of the song. I guess I would like to think it’s Mom’s way of wishing my good morning. I really do hope those who pass away get to catch a glimpse of us now and then. That is comforting thought to me.
Thank you for sharing, When you mentioned about contact with your mom I had to smile. Be of good cheer my whole family have had a sixth sense and are well connected with the world beyond. Your mom is with you just beyond reach and in a different form so keep looking for those signs,. My husband suddenly passed away in August and I have already had so many comforting signs that he is with me. Cannot explain this one but wrote about it on another site. I have a grocery bag I always take to the store. I have loaded it and unloaded many times and always made sure it is empty so no little purchases get left in the bag. Just before New Year’s Eve, I found two little identical wooden blocks in a corner of the bag. Now I also have a little gift from him and my heart is full of love.
