Johnny Depp wins Defamation Suit against Amber Heard. Although Amber was in the court to hear the jury verdict, Johnny wasn’t there, busy performing with his band in England. He also recently received a movie deal with Beetlejuice 2.
It was a 3-day jury verdict, and it was announced around noon Wednesday, June 1st.
Depp won $15Million in punitive and compensatory damages in this Defamation case, while Heard got $2 Million. But Judge Penny Azcarate reduced the punitive amount to the Virginia maximum amount of $350,000; and, he has to pay $2Million to Heard. Johnny will now get a total of $8.35Million in damages. Hopefully, Heard will use this two million dollar money to admit herself to a mental institution and receive the help she needs. She also can use this money to pay her shrink and make positive changes in her life to turn her life around because this ridiculously comical trial and her psychopath/sociopath behavior proved she is obviously a mental case.
