Good mourning? This is the October Halloween Insights Edition.
Two female celebrities died today. I am only familiar with one of them–Suzanne Somers, mostly known for her role in Three’s Company with John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt. She is with John Ritter now.
Suzanne Somers recently died from breast cancer. She was 76. She was born on October 16, 1946 in San Bruno, California and she died on October 15, 2023. She was almost 77 by one day. She was Irish-America, raised Catholic. She was married twice, first two Bruce Somers, and then to Alan Hamel. She has a son with Bruce Somers and three granddaughters—Camelia Somers, Violet Somers, and Daisy Hamel-Buffa. She died peacefully at her home in Palm Springs, California.
Piper Laurie was born on January 22, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan and she died on October 14, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. She was 91. I don’t remember Piper Laurie’s work but her name is familiar. So, I probably have seen her in some movies or TV work, but I am not sure who she was.
