Cats Meditation Session–End of March 2019

Thursday, March 28, 2019

It was a little past midnight, and I couldn’t sleep. So, I decided to do a meditation session with my Cats Cards. I like to meditate on each card’s picture to get my feelings of the moment as well as see what stands out in the scene at that particular moment. After randomly picking 7 cards, I then decided to add 4 more cards for further detail.

Sky Queen in reverse: This scene looks like a cold, winter scene. A sad cat looks like it has climbed a tree to get a better view at something ahead. It looks like it is watching something carefully to maybe get the big picture. But I picked this card in reverse, it might indicate that I am not able to see the big picture of a particular situation. Or, maybe I cannot get to a certain level so I can get a better view.

Fire Kitten: This scene depicts a nighttime scene, where a young kitten is playing with a lit white candle. It looks very curious and entranced of the fire that is emitting a bright light and warmth. There are stars in the background dark sky. But the kitten prefers to investigate this fire spark. For me, a white candle means meditation, purification, and relaxation; and, I usually light a small white tealight candle at night for relaxation purposes.

Sky10 in reverse: This scene looks dark and negative, as well as quite sad. The sky looks gray and stormy with lightning bolts. The poor cat looks scared and defensive, like it has been in a fight with other cats, and one eye is injured. Its hair is ruffled, as well as it has scratches, cuts, and scrapes. It has suffered hard times, and it looks alert and ready to fight back in order to survive. But I picked this card in reverse, which indicates my current life is positive, with bright and sunny skies, as well as filled with happiness and social activities.

Fire2 in reverse: The scene depicts a cat sitting at a doorway, and looking outside. There are two lit white candles by it, as it considers its options carefully before taking action. I also notice lizard design on the doors, which I think the lizard has to do with growth and rebirth. Springtime is all about rebirth, growth, and new beginnings. White candles are about peace, truth, and purity. It tends to rid negativity. But I picked this card in reverse, which might indicate I am not sitting by a doorway and considering any options. I am busy doing different activities.

Fire6:  This scene depicts a nighttime scene, where a group of cats congregate for a party. Each cat has come to this party with a gift for a particular cat. One cat is surrounded by little toys, as well as some dead animals, which are likely to be food gifts. This scene seems positive because this cat is being showered with gifts. She appears to be loved by others.  This cat appears to be admired and respected by others because she is successful and she inspires others. In my case, it might involve being offered a leadership positions that fits my skills and talents because of my recent achievement. Well, I just finished my graphic novel, and I am hoping that after I self-publish it soon that something positive will come out of this experience.

Sky King in reverse: This scene depicts a winter scene, where a cat sits alone outside in the cold. A cute chime is by the cat. I think wind chimes are a symbol for good luck. But I picked this card in reverse, which indicates that I am not sitting outside in the cold. I am warm and comfortable indoors.

Sea10: This scene is cute because it depicts a cute and loving cat family, hanging out together on the beach, under a cute gazebo. The parents are playing with their eight kittens. One kitten is playing with a crab. The waves are crashing against the shore in the background. It looks like a sweet, loving and positive scene, which I feel is a good sign of happiness and love.

The four extra cards include:

Sky3 in reverse: This scene depicts three cats creating mischief on a doorway structure. They are knocking things over to maybe get attention. They appear to be creating drama. They have broken a lot of pottery. There is a wind chime under one doorway, which a sign of good luck. But I picked up this card in reverse, which might indicate there isn’t any drama or mischief in my life. Even my cat Gumby isn’t acting up like these cats. Since this card is in reverse, it might indicate that my doorway is blocked for now, and I need to find a way to get through this doorway toward good luck ahead.

Earth King in reverse: This scene depicts a cute nature trail with stepping stones. The cat appears to be sitting ahead, near the finish line, maybe even resting before she moves on. In my case, it could also mean that I have taken many steps on my long trail journey, such as working on my graphic novel, and finally I have reached the end. I am resting before I take the plunge into self-publishing. Since I picked this card in reverse, it might indicate that this situation has nothing to do with a nature trail, or maybe my journey has ended. I might be ready to embark on a new journey. I need to take the final deep plunge into self-publishing because there are no more stepping stones left.

Fire7 in reverse: This scene depicts a nighttime scene, where four cats are fighting. It appears one cat is being corned and bullied by others. It feels defensive, always fighting back.  But I picked this card in reverse, so that appears to be a good sign for me, in which I live in peace and freedom, and I relate with others better.

Ace of Sea: This card depicts a snapshot on the shore, where shells, sand dollar, and dreamcatcher have been washed ashore. These items could be blessings or gifts from God. Such gifts have to do with dreams, love, and friends, with a special emphasis on pay attention to your dreams. It is also interesting that my first novel is called The Sand Dollar. It may involve following one’s dreams.
