Terean, having created her mandate that there would be no Internet for two days, kept the router off. Then, she switched it on.
A few hours later, Yolanda came to pay her rent. Terean mentioned the break in Internet service. Yolanda didn’t say anything.
Terean went to explain how unreliable it was and that it just went off and then came back on.
Yolanda didn’t say anything.
Terean pushed; “Look I’m sorry if you had work to do on line and couldn’t but…”
“We have our own Internet provider,” Yolanda said softly as she walked away. Terean thought she heard her laugh.
