Corner Woodworking Shop at the MSU Museum

One of the displays at the MSU ( Michigan State University) Museum of Natural History was this workshop. It looked like they took the corner of a barn workshop and moved it into the museum complete with a wooden hand plane, a straw hat, saw, hammer, panel gauge and lantern.

  1. Very nice picture of the good old days. It reminds me of the Upper Canada Village which I visited a very long time ago where you have olden houses equipped with wood stoves, old shops selling goods, old carpenter’s sheds etc. and the people wearing all the clothes of those days.
